Under Organic Law No. 113.14 on municipalities, the president of Lahraouiyine municipal council (Province of Mediouna) officially launched, on Thursday 12 May, the preparation of the municipal action plan with a participatory consultation workshop bringing together all local stakeholders, supported by the consultancy MAKIN CONSULTING.
Speaking to the newspaper Al Maghribi Al Youm after the workshop, the president stressed that the council is drawing up an action plan that takes into account residents' growing needs at every level and can be implemented on the ground.
He added that, to ensure the plan's success, all stakeholders and partners were invited to the meeting to share their proposals, ideas and comments so the council can draw up a comprehensive and realistic programme.
He praised the consultancy's substantial work, which presented the council with the results of an initial survey of the expectations and needs of Lahraouiyine residents.
